With clinical research forming the most essential component of the Institutes’ research activities, we have established collaborative networks with a number of international research centres and major pharmaceutical companies.
In particular, the Institutes have the unique advantage of being associated with a number of hospitals which have extensive clinical facilities for investigating and treating a large number of patients and thus a unique opportunity for translational research. These affiliations allow us to undertake large scale clinical studies related to thromboembolism in different parts of the world.
